Turning Good into Greater Good
Join SOS members and friends to discuss "Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You," by Jason Reynolds and Ibram Kendi.
Kendi, one of America ’s leading historians and antiracist voices, teamed up with Reynolds, an award-winning author, to write about the important individuals, movements and events that have propagated racist and antiracist ideas beginning in 1415.
Readers will be taken on a race journey from then to now, with insights as to why racism lingers. This is a very readable book, accessible for teen and adult readers, and as Kendi shows “just as racist ideas can be stamped in, they can also be stamped out.”
