UnCharitable - Group Discussion

“After three incredibly successful U.S. charitable campaigns were attacked by charity watchdogs…many of the top influencers in the field knew something had to be done to overhaul the nonprofit sector.” This is the catalyst that led author Dan Pallotta to start a movement calling into question our fundamental beliefs about charities. 

The video about this movement, UnCharitable, is based on Pallotta’s book of the same name, and gives a brief history of the nonprofit sector and through interviews and storytelling, exposes the flaws in how we evaluate charities and introduces us to a whole new way of giving. It is a powerful call to action to think about what it means to be charitable and to help the nonprofit sector change the world.
