SOS Volunteering at Springboard to Learning

Join your fellow SOS members by participating in this rewarding volunteer opportunity!  There will be two opportunities - this is the second option.

Springboard to Learning, an SOS grant recipient in 2016, is providing an opportunity for volunteers to assist in the assembly and packing of Arts & Learning Packs, small kits of hands-on arts activities designed for students to create without access to technology. 

Logistics details:

• Springboard has established that all staff and volunteers must either be fully vaccinated or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (dated w/in 48 hours) on the date of service. Please bring the appropriate document and a copy will be made on-site. (Just in case you would like to return for multiple occasions!) 
• The volunteer site is located at 1310 Papin Street, 4^th Floor, adjacent to Springboard to Learning’s office. The space is conducive to support up to 16 volunteers working simultaneously in a socially-distant, safe space.
• There are visitor parking spots just outside the revolving doors and street parking is also available.
• The building is secured, so the security guard will ask to see a picture ID upon arrival. Masks are also required.
• A Springboard Staff will meet the volunteers in the lobby at the designated meet-up time, assist with check-in and volunteers will proceed to the 4^th floor on the elevator.
• If there are late arrivals, no problem! The guard will check you in and send you up.
• Water and coffee are provided.
• Dress comfortably
