SOS Mission
The Spirit of St. Louis Women’s Fund (SOS) strengthens the Greater St. Louis community through informed, focused grant-making by educating and inspiring women to engage in significant giving. We offer single and multi-year grants focused on a variety of areas from Arts and Culture to Social Services. SOS Has A Four-Phase Grant Application Process
Once you have determined that your organization is eligible you will go through the grant process which begins annually in September.
- September: Submit Letter of Inquiry (LOI)
- January: Submit Full Grant Application by invitation only
- February – March: Meet with SOS members during a site visit
- April – May: SOS members vote on selected proposals and grants awarded at the Annual Meeting and Spirit Awards Ceremony
