Train unemployed, financially struggling women for work in the culinary field thru Lydia’s Ladle

One-Year Grants

Almost Home:  $7,500

Help young, single moms and their children achieve stable housing, educational success and economic independence through the Foundations to Success Program

Angel’s Arms:  $20,000

Prepare foster youth for a successful transition to adulthood once they age out of the system through the Life Launch program

Create a Loop:  $18,000

Offer scholarships for one year of rigorous computer science instruction to sixth grade students in St. Louis City public schools

Fit and Food Connection:  $19,500

Provide healthy food and nutrition education to low-income families living in north St. Louis with children ages five years and younger

Girls in the Know:  $16,722

Offer programming in schools to provide fact-based information that empowers pre-teen girls to make safe and healthy life decisions

Healing Action Network, Inc.:  $9,984

Provide transportation services for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation to access trauma-informed therapeutic services as they attempt to rebuild their lives

Megan Meier Foundation:  $5,000

Educate and empower high school youth to be leaders against bullying and cyberbullying within their own schools through a Leadership Workshop

Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project (MICA):  $20,000

Provide pro-bono legal services and access to social resources for immigrant children through the Children’s Immigration Advocacy Project

Sneakers with Soul:  $14,000

Provide school age students in the Normandy Schools Collaborative with new, high-quality sneakers at no cost

St. Louis BWorks:  $10,000

Give low-income children the chance to earn a refurbished desktop computer system while learning computer skills through the Byte Works Earn-A-Computer program

The SoulFisher Ministries:  $25,000

Offer post-incarcerated women safe and stable permanent housing and social services that support successful reentry into society

Urban Harvest:  $25,000

Grow healthy food and a healthy community through urban agriculture and education in low-income communities in north St. Louis City and County
